On Friday afternoon, we were very fortunate to receive a return visit from Evesham Concert Band.

The afternoon began with a wonderful opportunity for members of Holy Redeemer School Band to rehearse a specially arranged ABBA Medley together with Evesham Concert Band. Then followed a concert to the whole school, during which both bands delighted students and staff alike with their individual and joint performances. As well as the talents of the musicians, the concert showcased the lifelong joy of learning an instrument, and the fun and rewarding process of collaborative music making.

Thank you to Mr Johnson, Ms Hill and Denise Tandy for organising such a wonderful afternoon, and to the members of Evesham Concert Band for giving up their afternoon to visit the school.
