Karen Blanchfield, Wychavon Council’s Litter Hero Ambassador, visited School today to talk to Reception Class about importance of keeping Britain tidy and what they can do to help. Karen and the staff and pupils from Reception Class then went out into the school grounds to carry out a litter pick.
Afterwards Karen met with our Eco Council and educated them on different types of litter and how they can encourage the rest of our School community not to litter and importance of tidying up after themselves. The group then went out into the local community to carry out a litter pick.
Well done Eco Council: you’re fulfilling the School mission statement and being great people who make a difference in our world!
