At the end of term Father Amal, and our Year 6 leavers, led us in a beautiful, and very moving mass, to thank God for their time at Holy Redeemer, and for all of the ways in which they have grown and developed.
During the mass each child brought up a symbol of something they will always treasure about their time at primary school, and took turns reading a short thank you reflection that they had written. There were a wide variety of items brough up to the altar-things that represented what they had learnt in particular subject areas (pencils, books, sports medals, musical instruments), or symbols of personal and spiritual growth (circle of friends, plants, leadership badges, crucifixes).
Thank you to Father Amal for leading such a lovely mass, and thank you to all of our leavers-we will miss you so much!
