Last night we held our KS2 carol concert in the church. It was a beautiful service, led by the children, who sang and read wonderfully. We started in semi darkness, with just some candles on the altar for the first reading and carol (Once in Royal David’s City), which was very atmospheric and made for a very reflective and prayerful start. All the children sang well, with lovely additions to the programme from the Choir and the Year 3 girls.
Thank you to everyone who came along, either to sing, or read, or for part of the congregation. Special thanks to Deacon Pat, who was there to give the blessing.
