Islamic Exhibition

On Tuesday 3rd November 2015, Class 6 went to the Islamic Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.
Each section of the exhibition was managed by presenters trained to meet the needs of pupils.
The Exhibition has been set up to help support Islamic studies in schools and colleges at all levels. It can also deal with bodies of people interested in learning about Islam such as police cadets working in mostly Muslim areas ad other such social groups.
Its aims are to help educate people about Islam, to dispel some of the myths about Islam and to bring a better understanding of Islam to people residing in the United Kingdom.
Both children and staff found the exhibition very interesting and learnt a lot. We all came away with a much deeper understanding of Islam, its beliefs and practices, including the long list of things that Islam and Christianity have in common.
