Every Thursday morning, the school is alive with the sound of music as this is when the Holy Redeemer School band has their weekly rehearsal. These talented and hard-working students rehearse a wide range of music, from tangos, waltzes and congas, to Beethoven and George Ezra! Playing in a musical ensemble requires lots of different skills, including teamwork, perseverance, and dedication; as well as learning to develop on their instrument, follow a conductor and listen to the other musicians they are playing with. The band members use all of these skills and perform wonderfully at school events – and they have great fun too!
