Health and Wellbeing Afternoon

As part of yesterday’s health and wellbeing afternoon, children in Key Stage 1 worked in the Eco Garden with Mrs Andrews. They watered trees, weeded the beds, moved the Hollyhocks to a new position to make space for strawberry plants, dug up potatoes, swept and then went on a frog watch at the pond – where they spotted lots of tiny frog heads!

Other activities included Olympics-themed art, DT, playing board games and sports activities. Needless to say the children had a wonderful afternoon. Thank you to Mrs Annis for organising and running the event and to all of the staff who planned, led and supported the activities.
