Health and Well-being Day

Last week the children took part in the first of this year’s four Olympic Games themed Health and Wellbeing afternoons.

The activities were linked to the Olympic Games Values (striving for excellence, friendship and respect) and applying them to our school. We are also looking at elite athletes and how they take care of themselves and how we can do the same.

The children really enjoyed a range of activities including art, mini-Olympic competitions, yoga, building Olympic stadia, working together to take care of our school grounds and many more. It was fantastic to watch children from a variety of year groups working together and supporting one another.

Thank you to Mrs Annis for organising such a fantastic afternoon of collaboration, creativity, exercise and mindfulness, and to all of the staff who planned and led activities.
