It was an emotional day yesterday, as we said goodbye to our Year 6s. They started the day by wowing us all with their confidence and talent at the Leavers’ Assembly, where they shared their memories of their time at the school through drama, poetry, dance and song. There were tears in many an eye during the obligatory rendition of ‘Goodbye my Friend’, but we all got through it and it was clear to see that they had grown so much over their primary school years, that they were ready for the new challenges and opportunities that secondary school will bring. We were so pleased to be able to invite parents in to see the assembly, but due to the need to limit numbers and with not being allowed to have the rest of the school together in the hall, we recorded their last rehearsal and posted it on our YouTube channel for everyone else to watch: https://youtu.be/_S0ExF-WshI
