Twelve girls took part in a football festival at De Montfort High School. It was great to have girls from a large variety of schools learning and practising their football skills together, led by excellent female leaders. This was a great afternoon of sport on International Women’s Day.

A special mention to Catelynn for winning a medal and a ball, for demonstrating excellent School Games Values.

A big thanks to Mrs Houghton and De Montfort school for hosting and organising the event and to Mrs Annis and Mrs Porter for promoting girls football at Holy Redeemer, with such fantastic success.
