This half term, Hopscotch started ‘Forest Fridays’. The children will be visiting Pershore Horticultural College every Friday morning (9:30-11:30) to enjoy their learning in the wooded glade. They plan to follow the ‘fairy trail’, dig, climb, build dens and mud paint, as well as continuing to build on their phonics and number skills. The sessions aim to build confidence, encourage communication and team work, as well as promising to be great fun. The sessions are open to three- and four-year-olds, and are great value at £10 for non-funded places, and just a £2.50 top-up for those children attending the sessions using their nursery vouchers. Two-year-olds are also welcome, with an accompanying adult. Transport to and from the College is being provided via school minibus and waterproofs are available to borrow. Just bring gloves, hats, wellies…and of course a sense of adventure!
