Congratulations to all of our children who made their First Holy Communion recently. You all worked really hard on your preparation throughout the rest of the school year and Mrs Williams (as your catechist) was very impressed with your knowledge and understanding.

Thank you to Father George, from Droitwich, who came to say the mass for us, with Father Amal being in India at the moment. Thanks also to Deacon Pat who stepped in to support the children with practising for the mass and who supported Father George on the altar. Special thanks also to Mrs Wallbank, one of our parish governors, who played for the mass.

It was wonderful to see so many other children at this special mass, to support the candidates by singing in the choir, serving on the altar, or taking on some of the readings-a great way to live out our Catholic Social Teaching of ‘family and community’. Your wonderful voices brought so much joy to the occasion.
