Today Mrs Barker took whole school assembly and introduced Fair Trade Fortnight. She shared the Fair Trade logo with the children and explained what Fair Trade means and how we can all support those farmers around the world by looking out for, and buying Fair Trade products and being the change. She asked the children to think about our Catholic School Teaching values and which ones they thought liked to Fair Trade, and the children were amazed to find that it was all of them!

Mrs Barker then set us all the challenge to visit local supermarkets and carry out a survey of what items they stock. It will be really interesting to see what we can find.
