Yesterday our youngest children delighted family, staff and the rest of the school by leading us through the very first Christmas with drama and song. They amazed everyone with their beautiful singing, and by how many songs they had learnt, as well as by how well they knew their lines and their movements around the church. Pupils from Year 5 supported them by providing the narration, and even the two-year-olds made an appearance as animals in the stable, arriving in time to sing Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star with the rest of the children.

It was lovely to be able to hold the nativity in church and to see the church so full! Thank you to Fr Amal for allowing us to use the church, and to Christine for opening up for us. Well done to all of the children for giving two such wonderful performances in one morning (first for the rest of the school and then later on for their families). You were all amazing!

Thank you to all of the staff, for helping the children to learn their parts and for organising the costumes and programme, with special thanks to Mr Johnson for working with the children to get their singing to such a high standard.
