It was wonderful this afternoon to welcome Evesham Concert Band again. They last visited six years ago!

The afternoon started with an opportunity for the School Band to meet the members of the Evesham Concert Band and practise some pieces together, that they had each been working on separately. Afterward both bands performed together for the rest of the school, as well as playing as individual bands. The playing was wonderful and the children and staff were impressed, and inspired.

Thank you to Mr Johnson and Peter Scott for organising the event, putting together the programme and for working with their respective bands to practise the pieces and get them to such a high standard. Thank you to the members of the Evesham Concert Band for giving up their time to come and play for us, and to Peter Scott for his generosity in donating instruments that we can lend out to pupils.
