Since their return to school after Lock Down, Year 4’s learning has been inspired by Michael Morpurgo’s wonderful book, ‘The Day I Met a Whale’. This has led them to take a keen interest in plastic pollution in our rivers and oceans and in turn inspired them to write letters to Boris Johnson, to share their concerns and ask for his help in tackling it. Here are a few of their letters, below. We will be posting them to 10 Downing Street next week.
