On Wednesday we had a beautiful end of term mass, where the children in Year 6 wrote and delivered a lovely homily all about the gifts that we can bring to Jesus this Christmas. They were supported by children from across the school, who brought up wrapped boxes, labelled with these special gifts, and placing them at the altar-gifts of love, hope, peace, joy, sacrifice and prayer.
The singing was wonderful and joyous and delighted Father Amal, parishioners and staff alike, and the readers were clear and loud, delivering the Word of God so that all could hear and reflect on it.
Thank you to Father Amal and to all of the children and staff.
