Well done to everyone taking part in the cross country at Prince Henry’s High School. All the children ran with great determination and Holy Redeemer is very proud of them all.
The Year 5 boys won the team event, Year 5 girls were 2nd, Year 6 girls 3rd and the Year 6 boys were 4th overall-amazing results!
We also had some outstanding individual performances and a record number of 6 children qualifying (top 8 in each category qualifying) to represent South Worcestershire in the County Cross Country event in February, taking 1st, 4th and 7th in the Year 5 boys’ event, 3rd and 7th in the Year 5 girls’ event, and another 1st place in the Year 6 boys’ category!
This term we have record numbers of children at Running Club, which is wonderful. It is great to see so many younger children running too. Thank you to Mrs Annis, Mrs Porter and Mrs Clay for running this fantastic club and giving the children such a great opportunity.
Well done to everyone and keep up the hard work… keep running!
