Seven children from Holy Redeemer qualified for the County Cross Country. This was a record number of qualifiers and we are so proud of them all. Every one of them finished in the top 30 and displayed great determination and strength.
In the Year 6 boys category, there was a 22nd place finish. In the Year 5 girls, Holy Redeemer finished 27th and 28th, with Laima taking 9th place. The top eight go through to the National Cross Country, so Laima’s 9th place finish was fantastic!
In the Year 5 boys, Holy Redeemer finished 23rd, 19th and 7th. A massive well done to Jack for qualifying for the National Cross Country. This is a massive achievement and everyone at Holy Redeemer wishes him the best of luck for his national run.
Well done to all our amazing runners! Please keep attending running club and perhaps we could get eight children through next year!
