In November children from Year 4, 5 and 6 took part in a 1400m cross country run. The children were asked to volunteer if they wanted to compete and we were amazed and delighted by the amount of children wanting to take part.
We also took a large number of Year 4 children to compete in a Year 5 competition. Many schools commented on the amount of children we had representing Holy Redeemer which reflects on the high numbers we now have taking a more active role in sport.
Everyone completed the run and we were very proud of them all. A special well done to Caoimhe Guppy, Jack Porter and David Annis who all finished in the top 6, qualifying for the Worcestershire Cross Country County event in March where they recently competed against the best Year 5, 6 and 7 runners from across the county. A particular mention to David Annis who came 11th overall!
