Every class at Holy Redeemer took part in a distance run. Reception ran for 6 minutes and for each year one minute is added, with Year 6 running for 12 minutes.
The children were amazing, rising to the challenge with determination, resilience and great passion. We were so impressed with the huge number of children who ran the entire way.
Congratulations to our medal winners, very much deserved.
Thanks to all the parents supporting the event and those regularly attending running club with their child, and to Mrs Annis, Mrs Porter and Mrs Clay for the fantastic enthusiasm and motivation that they provide to the children – not to mention getting up early every week to facilitate running club!
