This morning Class 5 led the school and a large group of parents and family in prayer and remembrance for those who have died in war. They gave us an informative talk on how the Poppy Appeal began and on how the famous poem ‘In Flanders Fields’ came to be written.
They then shared their learning in Re this term, which has been focussing in on ‘prayer’: for praising, petition, forgiveness and thanks. They sang the Caribbean version of the Our Father, with some excellent solo performances.
