Holy Redeemer took two Team to the ESSA (English Schools Swimming Association) champrionships last week. Both teams swam very well with lovely technique, swimming a medley and a freestyle relay each. One team have qualified for the National School Swimming Finals in Sheffield in June,

The Year 5/6 girls netball team finished second at the RGS netball tournament, taking the silver medals. It was fantastic to see so many girls with such a good understanding of netball. So proud of all of them.

Holy Redeemer played in the Catholic football tournament at Winterfold on Friday. It was a great morning and the weather was lovely. Both teams displayed fantastic skills, determination, and team spirit. Both teams made the semi finals with neither team loosing a single game in

Holy Redeemer finished first at the Blessed Edward football tournament on Thursday. The whole team played so well and did not concede a single goal. It was fantastic to have David and Kian, two past pupils, coaching and working with our team.

Four children from Holy Redeemer qualified for the Worcestershire Games Finals in cross country yesterday. All four children gave an outstanding performance. Elizabeth finished 14th, and Rueben (11th just missing national qualification). Toby finished 1st and Tom 4th; both qualifying for National Cross country later

Years 5 and 6 went to Prince Henry’s yesterday to perform the dance routines that they have been working on in their PE lessons this term. The Year 6 dance was inspired by the Victorian era and Year 5’s by their science topic of Earth

Thank you to the Canals and River Trust who came into school last week to deliver a water safety assembly for years 2-6.  It was a very interactive assembly and the children learnt a great deal about staying safe around water. Hopefully they will remember

Two KS2 kurling teams took part in a South Worcestershire competition this week. The children had loads of fun and were very supportive of one another, showing great sportsmanship and team spirit. Well done everyone!
