A team of boys from Year 3/4 visited Bowbrook for a tag rugby afternoon. They had loads of opportunities to practice their skills and apply these to short matches. They also learnt some new skills which we will continue to work on back at school.

Year 3 have really enjoyed learning about renowned Mexican portrait painter, Frida Kahlo. As well as finding out about her life and work, the children had a go at painting their own self-portraits, in the style of Frida’s…and with great success! Well done year 3

All year groups have now taken part in their own Sports Day. Everyone competed in standing long jump, bean bag throw, sprint, distance and relay events.   There was a great atmosphere, with fruit and stickers for everyone and medals for the top 3 finishers

Year 3 joined the Cheltenham Virtual Science Fair and created water clocks working together.  The STEM challenge was to use a plastic bottle to create a clock that allowed 200ml to flow through in exactly one minute.  There was mathematical thinking involved including measuring the

On Friday Year 3 finally managed to host their outdoor, pop-up Roman museum! It had to be postponed before half term due to rain, but on Friday, despite being quite windy, it stayed dry and the museum was set up in time for their family
