This morning’s Big Breakfast event was a huge success, with eager customers queuing right round the hall for bacon and sausage sandwiches, beans on toast and a cup of tea, or glass of orange. There was a great atmosphere in the hall and we were all set up for a great day of learning and working.
The event was organised by Mrs Sanders and her BLT Team, in order to promote the importance of a good breakfast if we want to maximise our concentration and learning potential through the morning.
Thank you to the BLP Council for coming up with such a brilliant way to help us all concentrate and special thanks to Mrs Sanders for collating the orders, shopping for ingredients and for cooking all the food! Thanks also to Tesco, Evesham for donating some of the sausages and bacon and to all staff who came in early today to help set up and serve, and to those who did all the clearing up.
All monies raised from today’s event will be split between the CAFOD and Rainbows charities that we are collecting for this Lent.
