Banardo’s are currently looking to appoint support workers in our area to work with a few children and families in that need support from Barnardo’s but, due to staffing difficulties, the families are unable to have the service and support that they need.
The hours are usually after school, weekends and holidays, as a lot of the children are school age. The children are aged between 3- 18 years old. The hours worked with the child/young person are dependent on how many hours they have been allocated. This can range from 2-4 hours a week or more. They may sometimes have more hours allocated throughout the holidays.
Any time that can be offered is really valuable, even if this is only a couple of hours a week or time during the school holidays.
