Earlier this term Art Club learnt about Pointillism, a painting technique that involves applying small stroke, or dots, of colour to a surface so that (from a distance) they visually blend together. This technique was pioneered by Georges Seurat and Paul Signac in Paris in the mid 1880s.
Art club practised the technique by using it to paint Christmas pictures, using either cotton buds, or paint brushes. The children mastered the technique well and had lots of fun! Thank you Mrs Brennan.
