During Lent Class 6 held a cake sale to raise money for ACES (Aid for the Children in El Salvador)
We raised £170 and today we presented the cheque to Bron Soan who founded the charity. The money will be used to support the centre she set up to prevent young people from living on the streets and from getting involved in gang crime. Bron was very grateful for the fundraising we did and will come back and let us know how it was spent after her next visit.
She would also like to take a t-shirt for each child when she visits again. The ages of the children range from 3 to 16 so if you are doing a clear out before the Summer and have some good quality t-shirts don’t throw them out. The boys in particular love getting football tops.
