Before the Easter break, Year 4 enjoyed an amazing visit to FSC Bishops Wood, becoming Vikings for the day! They travelled from their homeland and settled in Britain. The ‘Vikings’ built shelters, learnt how to make fires, spin wool, create brooches, make clay pots, and play games which all helped to ensure that they were strong enough for fighting! A truly great day travelling back in time. Thank you to all at Bishops Wood who helped to make the experience so memorable, and thanks to Miss Russell, Mrs Elcocks and Mrs Handley for accompanying the children.
