Holy Redeemer took two netball teams to the Catholic Netball Tournament, held at Blessed Edward Oldcorne. Both teams played very well and it was great to see their hard work in PE lessons and Netball Club paying off.
Both the Under 9 and the Under 11 teams made it to the Finals, and both teams put up a good fight, but lost to Winterfold in each final.
Taking the silver medals in both age categories is the best Holy Redeemer have a achieved in a single year and it is great to see so many children, including a large number of boys, attending netball club every week.
A big thank you to Blessed Edwards for hosting and running the event and to Mrs Annis and Mrs Porter for all of their hard work, skill and dedication in teaching and coaching the children.
